Room Tour {guest room}

cozy guest room, blue and white bedroom, blue walls, green bedroom,

Every room in our house still has a lot of work, but we are starting to make progress on a few.  The guest room is definitely not finished, but it is complete enough that we have decided to put it on the back burner for a little while to work on other projects.  This room is very small and doesn’t fit much furniture at all.  For this room I decided to go dark blue on the walls.  I was a little nervous at first, but I am so glad that we did! I think it plays well with the white bedding and green accents.  We didn’t purchase anything new for this room in hopes that we could get by with what we have for a little while. Hopefully our guests feel at home when they visit!

For the walls we went with a DIY project.  I will go into it more in a later post, but we just spray painted some sea fans and mounted them in some cheap ikea frames.  Easy peasy and only about $40 total.
