Box Tops has Gone Digital!

This post is sponsored by General Mills. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ever since my kiddos started pre-school, I have loved being involved.  I volunteer for class parties, spend extra time making special treats and valentines, and I collect Box Tops.  Lots and lots of Box Tops.

Last year I was class mom for my daughter’s class and part of my responsibilities included collecting everyone’s Box Tops.  I was amazed to find out how many parents did not take advantage of this wonderful (and free) program!  If you are unfamiliar with Box Tops For Education, it is a program set up by General Mills to help support education and benefit America’s schools.  Hundreds of products that you already know and love participate in the program and now with a simple picture of your receipt, you can earn money for your child’s school!  It is easy-peasy and as of today, America’s schools have earned over $913 million through this program!

Right now, I am SO excited to share that Box Tops has gone digital and collecting Box Tops has never been easier!  If you are anything like me, you are in full school-prep and shopping for everything you and your kiddos need for the new school year.  I have found myself in my local Walmart every week picking up all the back-to-school essentials! I was thrilled to discover that right now, Walmart and Box Tops have partnered to double your Box Tops on hundreds of products! Yes, you heard that right. From now until 9/8/19 you can receive Double Box Tops! This offer is exclusive to Walmart, so hurry to your nearest one to take advantage of this amazing offer. All you need to do is download the Box Tops For Education App on your smartphone, head to Walmart and start scanning your receipt! The App has so much useful information including eligible products, promotions and updates.  It even shows you how much money Box Tops has contributed to your child’s school!

Everything from school supplies to snacks can help raise double the funds for your child’s school. We have picked up everything from our favorite General Mills cereals,  school supplies from Paper Mate and even Lysol Disinfecting Wipes! We were able to earn Double Box Tops on it all! We also stocked up on Nestle Pure Life Water Bottles and Nature Valley granola bars from Walmart for the upcoming soccer season.  The app is super simple to navigate and as soon as you scan your receipt, you will see your Double Box Tops rewards piling up!

Because of funds raised from the Box Tops For Education program, my daughter’s school received a check to put towards their Outdoor Classroom space.  The Outdoor Classroom is a designated area designed to give children a natural environment to freely explore in, as well as an alternate space for learning.  This amazing space for the children is possible because of programs like Box Tops For Education.  Just think about the amazing things your school could do with the extra funds.

So now it’s your turn to be involved and make a difference for your favorite school! Head to Walmart, stock up on your favorite General Mills & partners products and get scanning.  Click here to learn more about the program!
