Disney Cruise Couples Choice Spa Treatment Review
Your girl loves a good spa day and I knew that booking a couple’s spa package on our Disney Cruise would be one of the first things I would try to secure after booking the trip. I was a little surprised we were able to get a spot because we booked so late, but I was SO happy to grab a Couple’s Choice treatment on our day at Sea! I later heard that they only release 30% of the spa appointments early so many treatments can be booked once you are on board!
If you are not familiar with the Couple’s Choice package on Disney Cruise Line, it is amazing! From what I have seen, the actual treatment rooms are a bit different on each ship, but the package itself is amazing! We were on the Disney Magic, so I can only speak on that ship, but it was the best day! Your treatment includes 2 hours of pure relaxation and pampering.
From the moment you step in the private, ocean-view treatment room, you are greeted with plush robes and cozy slippers. You and your partner will each meet your therapist and discuss any issues or problem areas you would like to focus on during your treatment. My hubby and I selected th Hot Stone Massage for our treatment and after sorting out the logistics, we stepped outside to our private balcony equipped with our own hot tub, shower, and daybed.
Once settled on the balcony, your therapist will give you an amazing foot scrub. You and your partner are then left to enjoy the sounds and views of the ocean while you relax in the hot tub. We stepped it up a notch and also requested a bottle of champagne be sent to the room so we could sip some bubbles in the bubbles. We were left to enjoy the hot tub for about 30 minutes before we heard a gentle knock on the door to let us know that we had about 15 minutes before our massages. After relaxing in the hot tub or on your daybed, you will be whisked away to your treatment room for the most relaxing 75 minute couples massage. The gentle rocking of the ship during the massage was absolute perfection and I definitely caught myself falling asleep on a couple of occasions. The therapists were amazing and the Hot Stone Massage was a welcomed upgrade.
If you can peel yourself off of the warm massage table, you will then be escorted off to your balcony where you will enjoy a lovely tea ceremony complete with fresh fruit kabobs and more relaxation. Every detail of the treatment was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special couples experience. It was even more enjoyable knowing that our children were having a blast in the Oceaneers Club.
