Making Mornings Easy with Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt {Family-Friendly Recipe}

Okay friends, let’s be real, getting out the door on time in the morning while also trying to eat a yummy and filling breakfast is next to impossible. If you have been following along, you know I have been desperately trying to find some quick and easy recipes for busy mornings and this one is a new favorite. It literally takes about 3 minutes to put together and it is super easy to toss in your bag on your way out the door.

My family loves Greek yogurt but I am always on the hunt for the protein benefits of Greek yogurt without the extra fat and calories. Recently, we found these Dannon® Light & Fit Greek Nonfat Yogurt​s at Publix and they are awesome! They are 80 calories per serving, nonfat, 12g of protein,​ and each is a 5.3oz cup. Dannon Light & Fit Greek Nonfat Yogurts​ have fewer calories than average Greek yogurt** and they have so many delicious flavors to choose from. I love the rich and creamy taste and the vanilla flavor has become a family favorite. 

Although we all love the yogurt as is, I thought it would be fun to step it up a notch and toss in some other breakfast favorites. This recipe is simple, delicious and super easy to modify based on taste and what you have on hand. We love Kellogg’s ® Special K ® Red Berries Cereal so I used a handful to add texture and crunch to the parfaits. We also added a touch of honey, but the yogurts are so sweet and tastes so satisfying, you could easily leave that out! Greek Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients

  • 1 Container of Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt in Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Kellogg’s ® Special K ® Red Berries Cereal
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Berries

Instructions

  • Divide the Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt in half and add first half to a mason jar.
  • Lightly crumble half of the Red Berries Cereal and sprinkle on top of yogurt layer.
  • Drizzle 1/2 tbsp of honey over cereal.
  • Repeat previous three layers.
  • Add fresh fruit to the top of your parfait and enjoy!
